Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
- Provide occupational therapy services in various settings, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and peers to optimize student outcomes.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights into occupational therapy needs.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Possess a valid Maryland license or certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience with school-aged children is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit proficiency in maintaining precise records and consistently meeting deadlines.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
