Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' gross motor skills, mobility, and physical function.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance physical performance.Collaborate with educators and parents to support the integration of physical therapy strategies into daily activities.Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.Provide training and resources to school staff and families to promote physical development.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Georgia Secretary of State RulesMinimum of one year of experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy.Strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
